Is It Too Soon?

Is It Too Soon?

Sponsored by CrisDental Eugene

Hear the sound?

I know, it’s not a familiar one but I could get used to this.

There’s a loud rumble in this country of voices unheard for many decades finally speaking out.

The voices were always there but were drowned out by cultural auditors, spin doctors and folks with an axe to grind.

They wanted their way and knew our weakness.

Gadflies understand the game and how to “play it” while the rest of society quietly works raising families, working hard, trying to make a living.

We thought common sense would prevail but sadly learned sense is no longer common.

Luke 21:15:"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict."

But something changed this election cycle.

I believe the side of despair felt power during the over-reaction to COVID and pushed too hard.

They got a taste of what fear and manipulation of facts could do and it was intoxicating.

But people’s best decisions aren’t made when power takes over the mind.

They pushed harder, tried to get us to adopt their crazy and instead American’s rose up, called out their crazy and said “no more.”

When the power-holders lose grip they have two choices, admit defeat and soften their message to better reflect culture or dig in, lie more and in doing so risk pushing the public even further away.

That’s what we are witnessing right now.

I know, I scratch my head and wonder “do they not see most don’t feel that way?”

But hate is vindictive.

Hate also has an appetite and if fed results in irrational actions.

Is it too soon to say it’s over? yeh

Is it too soon to expect people to cry uncle and look to unite? Probably.

But it’s not too soon to make personal connections and establish new relationships with likeminded people who also think differently.

Many of us feel a sense of relief as we see a fresh new approach to leadership ushered into the Whitehouse.

We know nothings perfect and bumps, scrapes and missteps are part of any change.

But god doesn’t it feel good to have your voice back?

Even better doesn’t it feel great to know “they” have to listen to us.

Doesn’t is make you a bit teary to realize that the cultural monitors words no longer matter?

America stood up to the misuse of power and in the process restored an old American ideal….a new power….The Power of The People.

Blah, blah, blah.

If everybody refused to get the jab, the Covid pandemic would not be over and millions more beloved humans would be dead. Duh.
