Back in the day one my favorite stories to tell was about old Ghost Towns in Oregon.

I traveled all over the state introducing people to the amazing history of my home state that I still love even though I’ve chosen not to live there anymore.

One of my favorite Ghost Town Stories is a little town on the way to the Oregon Coast from Portland, called Idiotville.

There really was such a place, I think.

The video is a little fuzzy, this was shot 17 years ago.

But it’s still a good story to hear so you can tell it at your next backyard barbecue or while sitting a barstool at a pub with friends.
