There’s No Excuse For Ignorance

American’s are finally wiping the sleep from their eyes.
But will enough of us wake up or continue to woke up?
Each day polls show folks are waking up because they’ve had enough of the lies, propaganda and manipulation.
What’s sad is the information is out there but people don’t want to find it for themselves.
They continue to regurgitate the rhetoric of the press and the current administration without lifting a finger to find out, for themselves, what’s really going on.
I believe fear is what makes us lazy.
It’s easier to go along and get along than it is to hear that tiny voice telling you something is wrong and digging in.
Do other countries open their borders to anyone? No
Do other countries tax their citizens to help other countries fight a war? Not that I know of.
We truly are a gullible people, I mean really.
Well not all of us are but those who ride the cultural train sure fail to do any homework but love to virtue signal their alliance with ignorance.
They repeat the taking points handed to them from on high and feel smart….LOL.
Just because it feels good doesn’t mean it is good.
In Oregon we are putting people in the timber industry out of work over a plan that limits logging more.
To the ignorant this sounds so good.
Save a tree.
Come on folks, timber is a crop, like corn, but harvested every 40 or 50 years not every year.
Educate yourselves.
You cry about affordable housing and then make timber less affordable with stupid rules.
Then, rather than allowing your neighbors to work, we buy timber from other countries.
Oh, and just so you know, the climate here, the atmosphere, is the same one that hovers over New Zealand, Canada and other timber producing countries.
I see signs that the tide is turning but am afraid for Oregon it might be too late.
Ignorance is a disease in my former home state.
New rules are expected to be signed this week that will kill the industry and many of you ignorant folks will feel good about that while pitching a “choose kindness” sign in your front yard.
Oh how I miss the old Oregon.
The one where liberals and conservatives were independent cuss’ who questioned everything and distrusted the government.
Now, many suck up to easy and fail to connect the dots.

Both are incorrect factually. Our borders are not open. ten of thousands are being deported. Dozens of European and African and South American nations have migration issues without having an "open border" as you call it. Dozens of businesses want more migrants-particularly dairy farmers-not liberals in any way-to keep their businesses open as there are too few workers for these jobs. You may have read that Biden was ready to sign a tougher immigration bill which had lot of right-wing support- until Trump told them to back…
