It's Our Money Why Give It To Them?

Great Opportunity For Huge Change

I see this whole debate over DEI as a way of opening some doors that need ripping open.
So we have colleges and universities that seem to think it’s okay to discriminate against certain students.
There’s an easy way to fix that…..take away federal funding.
That opens a can of worms no one expected.
You and I NOW know our hard earned tax dollars are being given to Ivy League schools, when they have BILLIONS stored away in endowments.
Why do you and I pay for elite universities when they have that kind of money.
My proposal is let’s take that money you and I pay and put it into funding community colleges, trade schools, put shop back into our high schools maybe even add back music classes?
Or, just give us back our money?
I’d be okay with either one.
We learned during the pandemic we don’t need more college professors, lawyers of for goodness sake, quasi journalists.
What we need are people with real skills.
We need plumbers, carpenters, truck drivers, pilots and other technicians, not over educated folks doing research and writing papers on things that mean little to us common folks.
And remember, it’s our money.
Yes, I know some of those research dollars have value. But if a place like Harvard has 53 BILLION in endowments it can very well pay for that work on its own.
The biggest mistake made by the hold outs is the longer and harder they push back the more gets exposed. I want to thank you for opening our eyes and showing us where our tax dollars are being WASTED.
The deeper you push your heels in, the more dirt you kick up and man are we learning a lot.
I have a feeling there’s a lot more to come.
Funny, sometimes what seems like a bad thing turns around and bites
those resisters in the butt.
