Does A Paid Protest Really Count?

If You Pay Protestors Does It Make It a Real Protest?

I see names of different groups “sponsoring” the big King protest all over America today and have to wonder, where does the money come from?
I know there are plenty of suspects and information that shows it could even be coming from you and me through tax dollars, but is that really a true protest? When people are paid to protest isn’t that like cheating?
I have a feeling the Trump administration will be looking into where those dollars come from, especially if they really are coming from those of us who disagree with their positions. (That’s also not playing fair)
Protesters have EVERY right to protest what they don’t like but if they are sneaking around using our money, that’s cheating and makes this just a big public relations event. (which is what it is)
We saw this with the BLM riots a few years ago. You know, the ones the progressive folks don’t like to remember or talk about now.
We saw the money raised put BLM leadership in nice homes and then all the ugliness the organization was participating in started to seep out and silence followed.
BLM was such a big deal and now it’s silent.
Another woke cause locked away in the failed round file.
I think the big problem for this and any anti-Trump protest is those of us who support strengthening our immigration and tightening the border, don’t really take the protestors seriously. When you complain about every single thing this administration is doing and out of the other side of your mouth claim to seek democracy and crush division, we see through it.
We know you will never meet us in the middle or even give 10%. You want the whole cookie and won’t stop until you get it.
I think America is done with the days of submission to crazy.
In case you haven’t noticed “Common Sense” is much more common and when you lose your voice, your freedom and are censored for a few years, when those things return you will never go back.
It’s a beautiful Saturday here in Central Oregon.
Protests will be the big news of the day for those who are part of them but for the rest of us, we have families to enjoy, friends to spend time with and a free will to disagree. We will focus on moving forward not hanging onto the past. We will look for true democracy and the freedom to move forward.
