Walking On The Edge

The Silent Treatment/Walking On The Edge

I just got ANOTHER message from a veteran who feels he can’t talk about how he truly feels about the Iran situation for fear of getting attacked.

I’m seeing more private messages and emails from these folks.

As attacks increase, the attackers' audience turns against them.

Someone told me yesterday to just lay off the president and write about something else.

Huh, we are in the middle of a war.

Our country could easily be involved in a nuclear war, and I’m supposed to shut up and write about rainbows and butterflies?

Come on.

Another laughed because he assumes my audience is dwindling since he’s so sure the entire world agrees with him.

Yes, I am losing people.

Sure, that costs me money.

But I have an audience of one, yeah, Him.

God did not call me to be successful. He called me to be faithful, and that’s what I’m doing.

What my haters, critics, or whatever you want to call them, don’t see are the untold stories.

What I write about is not just the war, the mistakes of the president, or the lies we are being told.

Someone walked up to me in Skamania County, Washington, and said she follows me, doesn’t always agree with me, but that my willingness to let some of you spit on me gives her the strength to get through the drama in her own life.

The things I write about are bigger than Trump and his mistakes.

Corruption is universal and, in case you didn’t notice, is happening more and more.

Free speech is not only given to us by God so we can call out evil in high places, but our stories also need to be shared so that everyday situations can be managed, conquered, and won.

Just a month ago, the people who followed me raved and cheered.

Now those same people rant and snear.

They say I’ve changed. No.

My commitment to the truth is unwavering.

I do not flip or flop.

I will not duck and cover.

The truth didn’t change, but the lies caught up with the message makers.

They tripped, and I jumped out of the way.

You want a happy story that has nothing to do with Trump or the war?

How about the woman in Stevenson, Washington, who took comfort in her own battle with liars, finding refuge in unrelated words of encouragement when one guy used his God-given free speech rights to express what he felt, despite your efforts to give him the silent treatment.

You’re upset when the liberals try to silence you, but use the same tactics when battling your own demons.

Let’s stop with the silent treatment and see what comes of all of this.

Pray for Vance and the team and that our president will listen, not to the folks who got us into this mess, but to the still small voice of God.
