You Can’t Spell Community Without Unity

There’s a ground swell in our nation.

A return to one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.

But there are also many who dig their heels in, hang onto outdated “facts”, allow hate to cloud their vision and would just as soon see our nation fall apart if it means destroying President Trump.

Remember just a few years ago when FEW would publicly show support for Trump.

If you did your business was at risk, the social monitors would bully and try to destroy you.

People secretly liked the guy but in many places, to stand up for him or fly a Trump flag on your property, brought ideological scorn.

Now, we don’t care.

Remember during the COVID fiasco, Stanford Dr Jay Bhattacharya was destroyed by the medical community and media for questioning the handling of the virus. Turns out he was right and now Trump picks him to be the Director of NIH. That’s gotta make him feel good. I love it.

Truth Wins.

RFK, a man belittled by his own party and the media for questioning the testing of SOME vaccines, is now probably going to get the knot to lead health reform in this nation.

See how they turn on people who they don’t agree with.

Democrats and Republicans who tried to destroy Trump during his first term see the American people backing the president and are coming around to find some bit of unity.

Trump proved them wrong, the public has spoken.

But then there are the heel draggers. Those who, a few years ago professed to “Choose Kindness”, seek “Unity” and bring “Compassion” back into our culture. Ironically these are the same folks who spew accusations, lies and misinformation all over the internet and do exactly the opposite of what they once claimed to be all about.

And they are still refusing to look deeper and accept what has happened.

What I think some are missing is America is looking for a leader who lives up to his promises. We want someone who really cares about America first. I’m not a fan of either party. The whole party system is partially responsible for getting us into this mess. But I am a fan of freedom and “We the People” controlling Washington not the other way around.

You can continue to hate Trump but if you wipe the anger from your eyes you might see that the guy changed. America is seeing it, well ,those with open minds like parachutes see it. LOL

Unity creates better community but one thing I think many of us have learned is we too have a dark line we will draw and not allow anyone to cross it ever again. The old saying “Give an inch and they take a mile” is so true.

Been there done that and we are not going back.

A united America is a good thing but it’s gonna take time.

Unity does’t mean cowering or negotiating over ideas that have proven to fail.

You can stay mired in mud or you can find ways to work together. It’s your choice but we choose to move on, with or without you.
