Words Are Powerful

Watch Your Words

I woke up this morning.
Felt like God nudged me to sit down and journal out my thoughts.
As my pen started moving, I realized it was not my thoughts finding their way from pen to paper but my creators.
I used to spend a lot of time journaling with God.
Lost track of time.
I’ve spent more time allowing things to feed my ego and forgot to feed my soul.
I’ve allowed myself to get caught up in the chaos of the internet.
It’s like a drug, and before you know it, you are sucked in, hooked.
Words are a powerful weapon, but must be used carefully because you and I are easily deceived.
The world wants to create chaos.
We should aim for freedom.
The deceiver uses grains of truth to discredit each of us as culture digests it all into one giant lie.
The evil one makes a lie justifiable.
If we don’t have our focus on our creator, we are easily tempted to settle for what is easy and makes us look good.
False prophets are everywhere, luring us in with Band-Aids, not permanent solutions.
We settle for what feels good rather than what is righteous.
Add on some good old-fashioned virtue signalling and you’ve got a rabbit hole you’ll never get out of.
The words we speak can bring life or death.
Our light exposes what is hidden in the shadows of the dark world.
Never in my life have I seen so much exposure in such a short time.
I don’t want to speak more death into the world, so my goal is to find and speak more life.
Some will take this revelation and use it as a hammer to beat on the past.
But that is none of my business.
We can only control what we do, where we focus, and how we move forward.
