I’m hearing journalists tell us how much we need them in order to keep our democracy.

Part of this is referring to the “Open Letter” released by professors of Journalism at the University of Oregon.

The letter indicated that without the free press we are at risk.

Wait a minute……I guess we agree on something.

We do need a free press to ask hard questions when government propaganda steers us in the wrong direction.

We need a free press to ask questions of our medical leaders when day to day information kept changing, rules  become more tyrannical and power over the people becomes questionable.

To all you “Journalist”….where were you when we the people needed someone to ask hard questions?

Silence.

Where were you when things didn’t add up?

Silence.

Where were you when we the people had questions about mandates and people losing their jobs for not getting a vaccine?

Silence.

How come you didn’t ask any questions?

More Silence, just excuses.

Why did you go along with the status quo when your job was to cover our ass by asking the hard question?

Silence.

You took a side.

When law fare was used against political opponents you picked a side and didn’t ask “Who, When, Where, What and How.”

Those are the questions to supposedly teach your students to ask but you didn’t ask them did you?

And now you come out with a letter, a virtue signaling letter touting the democracy you are helping us preserve. Laugh.

You blew it.

You lost us.

You failed us.

And now you want us to take you back? Hell no.

You are nothing more than a mouth piece for one side.

Your actions speak louder than words.

You left us, lost us and now we have found replacement sources.

You had your chance and your ego got in the way.

Your arrogance revealed the darkness inside you.

We’re done with you.
