Lies No Longer Tolerated? It’s About Time

There was a day when being a liar was bad.

There was a moral, mostly unspoken code that lying meant not being trusted.

But as with most “sins,” the general public grows numb to the impact of lies and soon, with the proper spin, a lie becomes “stretching the truth” or “skirting a falsehood.”

During COVID, our leaders, neighbors, and public health folks did a lot of “stretching the truth.”

Liars often tell only half the story to get away with what is purely a lie.

During that time, to label a liar what they are, a liar, brought all Hell against you.

Society doesn’t like to call out liars, for some reason, but I think that’s starting to change.

We are so bombarded with lies, it’s hard to distinguish the truth.

In case you haven’t noticed, that’s the whole point.

If you tell a lie long enough, it almost magically becomes true, not really, but that’s how culture seems to look at it.

People are fed up with liars, cheaters, and thieves.

We are done with the massaging of words, the twisted meanings, the half-truths.

We want answers.

Your party bullshit means nothing to us, nothing.

Under the Biden administration, lies were part of the package.

We were told he was of sound mind, but the more information that comes out, the more we know that is a lie.

Some of us knew it all along.

It appears he’s been caught, and the public wants answers.

Who was running the country the past four years?

Who was signing laws, orders, and computations?

The Trump administration is also in a pickle right now.

The handling of the Epstein case is deplorable.

Our new Attorney General seems to have lied to us and expected us to swallow the fable.

We were promised accountability and transparency, but that, too, was a lie.

Many of us are disgusted by the lies of the past four years.

We are fed up, and that’s why we are so irritated with the Trump administration right now.

I believe he will take care of it.

If he doesn’t, he’s in big trouble.

What folks like me want is more than an apology.

Liars need to be called out, fired, to show us and our kids that morality is a priority, and liars need to be exposed.

We need to”Make America Truthful Again” MATA

We have NO trust in the court system, NO trust in partisanship, and right now NO trust in our government at all.

No more hiding the evil doings of anyone from any party with any ideology.

We want names, no matter how high they go into the deep state.

Mr President, release the damn files, all of them.

For me, this is not a request, it’s a demand.

I know, who the Hell am I to make such a demand of our leaders?

I, like you, am their boss.

We help put them in the position.

We trusted them.

We get to be the star of “The Celebrity Apprentice” and say: “You’re fired.”
