We Have A Leadership Problem

It’s Clear We Have A Problem

I get a lot of mail that the public doesn’t see.
A lot of mail.
In my business, I’,m talking with a lot of newsmakers and people in powerful positions.
The other day, I got an email from a teacher about a school district quietly reinstating a “gender type club” into the program.
Secrets are usually ways of hiding things.
One of my sources contacted the district, but he didn't get a response.
That means no denial.
Often, when I do a podcast, the result is emails or messages connecting corrupt dots to bad leadership, wasted money, and lies.
Almost all the time, it involved your money.
Yep, your tax dollars are being wasted, again.
The past two weeks, my inbox has been filled.
The political season is in full swing, and every candidate has the same talking points, or so it seems.
New leadership is important.
Out with the old and in with the new is the only thing that stands a chance of changing the status quo.
My concern is that the corruption is so deep, so embedded in our system, a new leader will simply get sucked into a system, recycling the same old bull shit.
Since the overthrow of Venezuela and the war in Iran, many of us are doing a lot of thinking and soul-searching.
From the national level to the local city council, the common denominator seems to be that our leaders have forgotten they are public servants.
In the Bible, "servant" (ebed in Hebrew, doulos in Greek) generally refers to a person bound to a boss, highlighting complete submission, dependence, and obedience.
So the public servant works for the public, or is supposed to.
Our needs should come first.
We’ve allowed our ELECTED leaders to flip-flop the priority here.
They have convinced us that they are the boss and we are the pursebearer.
They use chaos and confusion to turn our focus away from what they are doing, so they can get rich or even more dangerous and powerful.
We could change it, but I think it’s too late.
God uses everything for good.
Perhaps He’s about to expose all of it, the whole damn thing.
I was listening to a priest on a podcast the other day talking about how God will allow humans to destroy things, but at some point, the sin is so great He has to step in.
I believe, right now, God is at the threshold of the door, about to swing it open.
His wrath will not be pretty.
Go ready your Bible if you want to look at past cultural spankings from the Father.
Perhaps He’s tired of us putting our hope in man rather than our creator?
Maybe He’s had enough and is ready to expose corruption at every level?
He is definitely up to something, so when you read the headlines, hear the lies and propaganda, smile, hunker down, be prepared, and remember who is in charge.
