Time For Another Change

We did it.
This week, we put our house in Townsend, Montana, on the market.
We love this house, the view, the wood floors, the location overlooking the lake, but we are nomads and also know this is not our permanent home.
I honestly don’t know if permanent is in our vocabulary, unless you are talking about our marriage.
We’re not in a hurry, something we’ve learned after being on this earth for 66 years.
We want to stay in Montana, but don’t know where we want to put down roots. Once the home sells, we’ll wing it, living in Airbnb’s or maybe find a place to become caretakers.
The way the world is spiraling right now, we need to be flexible.
I normally get uneasy about change.
But I have a sense, and I could be wrong, that flexible, moveable, and pliable will all be traits we as followers of Christ are going to need in the coming days.
We need to lighten our load, be less dependent on policies, and be more open to moving quickly when God says, move.
I was listening to an interview with a Catholic Priest who is also an exorcist.
The clash between the world of darkness and the world of light is heating up.
We need not panic, but be ready and available to ride the wave, not be anchored down by consumerism and the madness of the market.
Politicians and parties offer empty words and solutions that will not happen.
I think that revelation is a good thing.
We can and should depend on one person alone…Jesus Christ.
He promises salvation without all the strings attached.
We’ve been planning this move for a while.
We were waiting for the okay from the Father.
We don’t know if we’ll sell, or if the timing is right, but God knows.
We’re just putting it out there and trusting Him to show us the right direction.
We live in scary times or exciting times, depending on how we choose to look at it.
What we do know is that God created each one of us for a time such as this.
Put on the armour of God, pray for protection, smile, and get ready to duck and cover.
