Some Don't Just Hate Trump They Hate What we Believe

I read a great article the other day that made me think.
The folks who seem to hate Trump so much really hate what you and I believe.
Trump is the front man for change in this country but you and I are the real targets.
We believe in the constitution, freedom, less government and ideas like “We The People.”
We want change, fewer taxes, accountability, no more censorship and we want our voice heard again in America.
We are tired of the double talk, double standard and the doubling down of a tired ideology that’s failed.
We want someone with our vision not a message of defeat and despair.
We depend on ourselves, not politicians and pundits to make change.
We recognize what doesn’t work and are willing to do what it takes to pushback and push ahead.
You and I scare the Hell out of a tired message of tone deaf power mongers.
Even as polls and people turn from the stupidity of a mantra pretending to care the message makers continue to play the same old broke record.
America is done.
We know our country is less that perfect but also understand the direction of the past forty years needs to end.
They can call us what they want but the labels only stick if you let them.
And besides, this is not about us this is about our kids, their kids and those who come after them.
As they continue to chip away at every misstep and try to make mole hills into mountains, we must push forward and not let up.
There are cries for unity but that’s because we’re making headway.
Working together sounds good and there will be a time for that but right now their words are empty, just another attempt at gaining control.
We must stay engaged. We are known as people who take ground but tend to give in or give up too soon.
We need to stop that.
You can't always play nice.
We can’t make that mistake this time.
Some will say we are divisive….people often see in others, the darkness of their own heart.
This division is purposeful and started decades ago….not by us.
Balance is the goal. No party or person is worthy of super power status or a super majority.
Unity will come when we even the playing field and find a common goal of making this country amazing……again.
