The Year of Truth

2026 The Year of Truth?

When you’re hiking in the wilderness, you have a lot of time to think.

When you clear your head and look, not at what’s being said, but the motivation behind it, you start to see a trend towards truthfinders in America.

I’m watching legacy media scrape and claw at independent journalist Nick Shirley for breaking the biggest story of last year.

Oh, he wasn’t the first to expose the Medicare fraud, but he dug the deepest and took America into the sewer with him.

The far left is being relatively quiet about the whole story.

I hear a few typical racism claims from the losing team, but there’s so much evidence that even they seem to be afraid to say too much.

On my social media, I still find the usual jabs.

They rarely argue over what I say, but show their fear in their comments that are more about me personally, because they have nothing else to fight with.

Facts are their enemy.

I believe 2026 will be a turning point, a sort of adjustment in the American way of life.

I would call it a restoration of what is good, kind, and decent about American life.

Expect a recoil at my suggestion, but something is happening.

Those with discernment can feel it.

We have taken our country from a melting pot to a dysfunctional stew.

People used to come here to be a part of our great nation.

Many of our forefathers were among them.

America was a place for dreamers, and people wanted to be a part of it.

When the Biden administration turned a blind eye to illegal immigration, criminals, misfits, and people who could not give a damn about our country turned the American dream into a nightmare.

They got help from a group of people who really don’t like America and would like to see the whole idea flushed and start over.

Nick Shirley exposed the darkness, and the former keepers of the castle are doing all they can to discredit him and climb back up on their thrown of lies.

That’s not gonna happen.

If we as a nation make truth our guidepost for all decisions, I think we have a chance of restoring order to our country.

But we must be consistent and relentless about it.

This goes far beyond partisanship.

If we want to change it, we must call out liars on the left, right, and the middle.

The key is to stay engaged but not consumed by the headlines and messaging.

Give people room to think what they want, but never hold back correction or questioning, as we have in the past.

When I was a news guy, I heard a lot of folks in the extreme camp talk of tolerance, acceptance, and open minds.

That’s all it was, talk.

We’re done talking and need to stand up, stand strong, and stand for the truth.
