The Pipeline To God

The Pipeline To God

When we miss the mark (sin), it interferes with the pipeline of communication we have to our creator.

In all my years of church-going, I was never told that.

I knew sin was bad, but being good was not enough reason for me to avoid it.

Lately, I’ve felt this closeness to the Father that I haven’t had in a long time.

Our communication improved when I made some changes and basically cleaned up some messy closets in my life.

It’s not like I was planning a takeover of the world or had a murder plot (LOL).

But sin is sin.

God can’t partner with it.

So, when we willingly participate in it, something gives.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed with the chaos plaguing our planet.

There is so much misinformation, and frankly, lies, that we are easily fooled.

The enemy of our souls knows exactly how to trip us up.

His whole mission is to short-circuit our communication pipeline to God and each other.

He is a master manipulator.

If he can get us off-center with lies and half-truths, he can sideline us because we can’t hear the Father through all his noise.

Right now, we all need discernment.

Our religiosity won’t save us.

Our five easy steps to finding God are useless if the pipeline is obstructed.

It is easy to be discouraged.

Sometimes we want to say “to Hell with all of it” and find an island to hide on.

When I get like that, I turn my focus on those whom God has placed in my life.

I narrow my focus, clean up my closet, make my bed, and do what I know I can do, which is love the closest to me.

Like a healthy heart system, we must keep our arteries open and the blood flowing.

Sin is like a blockage that stops the flow.

If we don’t treat it, eventually, it will destroy us.
