The Immigration Debate

ree

It is Not Heartless to Uphold The Law.

Proverbs 11:11

“By the blessings of the straight (those seeking righteousness), the city is exalted. By the mouth of the wrong it is overthrown.”

City councils all over Oregon are in a panic, declaring a state of emergency.

Depending on whom you listen to, the Biden administration allowed 10 to 20 million people to break our laws and enter the United States illegally.

If you or I tried to do the same thing to a foreign country, we would be deported back to America.

There is a process.

Thousands go through that process each year.

The process has many flaws and needs to be fixed, which is why we have laws, and if we don’t like them, there is a process to fix them.

All over the country, ICE agents are finding people who aren’t supposed to be here and deporting them.

Their main targets are violent offenders, criminals, and rapists.

Apparently, in the process, there have been mistakes.

I don’t know this for a fact, but let’s give a little grace to those who claim it to be true.

The media and supporters of illegal immigration are hyper-focused on those stories right now to drum up fear and support for their cause.

What’s their cause? I can’t quite figure it out.

I have many guesses, but nothing firm to back them up.

But for the life of me, allowing people into the country without a legal process is just asking for trouble.

A nation without borders is no longer a nation.

What’s troubling about the city councilors and leaders who buy into this ideology is that it exposes their complete lack of backbone.

One by one, these self-righteous leaders create more panic as they virtue signal by creating this so-called state of emergency.

What gets lost in the headlines and hyperbole is the fact that most of the people being deported are not supposed to be here….period.

You and the media can focus on the small number of cases or mistakes, but fail to even acknowledge the hundreds and hundreds of really bad people being sent home.

Supporters of illegal immigration know how to spin a yarn and work their damndest to make this an issue of race, which is a lie.

People from all over the world are sneaking into our country; the color of their skin has nothing to do with the uproar of legal citizens.

The only folks who make it racist (based on race) are those accusing you and me of being racist.

I suppose it shows the giant hole in their logic.

The messaging is just another tactic in their attempt to win, what, I have no idea.

These weak leaders are so concerned about their political careers and appearance that they bow to the minority while snubbing their noses at you and me.

We are not heartless people for wanting our laws followed.

We don’t hate immigrants; at one point, someone in our family was one of them.

However, there’s a process that millions have followed, and we believe those laws serve a purpose.

You don’t have to agree with us; all we demand is that you follow the law.

If you find the current system outdated, there’s a legal process to update it.

Instead of breaking the law, change it, the way we have to.

For some reason, you expect us to play by the rules, but when it comes to your team, all the rules go out the window.

Not anymore.

You’re breaking the law, and “We The People” are done with it.
