Such A Time As This

We Live in Prophetic Times

It’s hard to believe you and I were created for such a time as this.

Out of all the periods in history, God created us to be right here, right now.

It’s easy to look at what’s happening around us and see chaos.

But in what is meant for evil, God can and will bring out good.

At a glance, to see what is happening with the war in Iran (a little excursion) is scary.

This is serious stuff, and it feels like our leaders are starting something we can’t really finish.

Their facts don’t add up.

Their story seems to flow in the moment, and the “truths” come with more questions.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in what we see, hear, and feel about the situation.

Kathy and I sit in the car listening to this stuff being exposed, and are infuriated.

This morning, as I was going over what I’ve learned, a calm came over me.

I realize I am caught up in my own vision of what God is up to when in fact, none of us knows.

I know in my own life, I often learn the most when the heat is turned up, the furnace gets too hot, and the dross is scraped off my own understanding.

There is gold in there somewhere, but it takes heat to bring the garbage to the top so the truth can be revealed.

I wonder if God is not turning up the heat, allowing the lies, the corruption, and the disgusting behaviors, we have allowed to seep into our world, to be exposed.

A deeper dive shows connections between the war, Epstein, the Deep State, and those we supposedly elect to run our country.

One by one, liars are being exposed.

New headlines every day of school districts, county governments, and cities running out of money.

Their foolishness is being revealed, exposed for what it is.

In the process, we (I) must be careful not to buy into the hype and chaos.

Lately, I’ve been concerned about the development of data centers.

I’m still not willing to open my arms wide, but I did some research and found, yep, more lies designed to stir up the masses.

We live in prophetic times.

I know a lot of Christians who think they will get a pass when it comes to the devastation waiting to set in.

I have my doubts about any escape plans.

God built us up to stand up to power, to support the burdened, and to fight those creating chaos and lies.

Through Him, we have the most powerful weapon available today.

The truth.

And only the truth can set us free.
