Stay Out Of Destruction’s Way

The narrative of deceit is under attack.
Stay out of the way.
The lies of the lofty are exposed for what they are.
Stay out of the way.
Hold those in leadership accountable.
Allow no man’s words to set you back, allow His word to set you free.
The enemy of our souls is a master at twisting right and wrong.
Don’t fall for it.
Don’t become part of it either.
A month or so ago, a secular psychiatrist was talking about how our minds lie to us.
They tell us untrue things.
Some of that storyline comes from past experiences.
He warned not to take what purculates in your head too seriously.
Use discernment to sort your thoughts and take captive those that are folly.
My belief system has a name for that manipulative voice in my head, let’s call it evil, and it will stop at nothing gain control.
I’ve had some troublemakers hammering me on social media.
Nothing to be overly concerned about, but it is clear cages are being rattled as retaliation heats up.
There is a part of us that wants to stick up for ourselves and a part that is madened by the ignorance.
I was starting to ponder the comments and analyze the tactic when I heard a voice in my heart say, “Take captive those thoughts, ignore, move forward.”
It was as clear as day.
My head was not speaking to me; it was that still small voice urging me not to engage but stay involved.
As we watch the world falling apart, we must remind ourselves not to get stressed about the destruction.
We are told not to worry because worry brings on more evil.
We certainly don’t need more of that in our world right now.
I woke a couple of times last night.
My mind, or more likely, the enemy of my soul, taunted me with worries and concerns about the future.
I refused to play the game.
I took those thoughts captive and reminded myself that when you remodel something, destruction has to happen first.
We don’t need to concern ourselves with the plans of the destroyers, but we do need to pay attention and speak out.
We must stay involved but disengage from those who are not aligned.
Put on your protective gear, the armor of God, and prepare yourself.
The remodel is just beginning.
