So, this is A Holy War?

Unbelievable how quickly people turn on those of us who are asking questions about our involvement in Iran.
We may end up being wrong, but not questioning is worse than failure to me.
The assumptions made by some of you are astounding.
You can’t accept that; the questioners still support the president, just not in this instance.
You want us to shut up, get in line, and put on our blinders.
You expect us to be all in, or we are your enemy.
I’ve been told by many that because I don’t see this war the way they do, I am not a good Christian man.
What the F?
I didn’t know my faith was based on agreeing with a war with another country?
How quickly we turn.
The assumptions made by some try to lump me and others who have the same questions I do into one tiny box.
Almost overnight, we have become your enemy.
For disagreeing?
I am naive.
I didn’t believe Christians were like that.
Actually, I’ve experienced the wrath of not following the flock numerous times.
I thought conservatives allowed others to think for themselves and respected the freedom to disagree without stooping to tactics of the left, methods you and I, one month ago, seemed to despise.
I was wrong.
This war is pitched as protecting the Iranians, as if we’ve ever shown we cared before.
We are told it’s to stop nuclear weapon development, although many facts don’t line up.
So we ignore that?
Some feel we are showing strength when experts believe we are opening the door to a more powerful China and a less powerful United States.
Let’s not ask what this could do in the long run to our country.
The president’s choice puts the economy, the midterms, and the future of America at risk, and who wins?
But bring up any opposition, and you are deemed un-American, unworthy, unchristian?
What is really behind this war?
Why are some of you so afraid to question it?
One of the things I like most about Trump is his willingness to ask hard questions and get torn to shreds for doing so.
But when we do it, you don’t like it?
I think the reason this has gotten so nasty is that some of you truly believe this is a Holy War.
You believe this is the end of time, and God wants us to do this.
Maybe you’re right, but if you are so certain, why worry about a few of us questioners?
God isn’t afraid of our questions. Why should you be?
A few months ago, some of you said to me how much you respected my ability to fear not and ask hard questions.
Some of the same people now blast me with hate for doing it because I’m challenging them.
Is that really who we are as conservatives?
Free speech is still my top priority.
Someone told me the other day to “shut up, support the president, and get on board.”
You don’t have to go back very far in history to find similar things being said to people in the name of a so-called better world.
I have many people on my social media sending private messages because your bullying scares them.
You are basically censoring the conversation and labeling it as “getting on board.”
Guys, this is what we fought during COVID.
It’s what we loved about the Trump administration.
We were freed from years of DEI and political correctness.
Are we creating the same thing?
Are we doing this in the name of God?
What you and I think doesn’t matter.
I wonder what He thinks of it?
