Oh, You Thought I Was Doing This For You?

A couple of interesting comments on my social media lately have shown me that some of you have the wrong idea about what I do.

For 30 years, plus, I’ve worked in either news, politics, or at my own business, giving voice to the voiceless in our world.

Whether a news story, a podcast, or writing blogs on my social media, giving a voice to you and me is always the goal.

It’s also a way for me to figure out what I think with other people.

The audience that receives it and is open to ideas understands that.

As a community, we are working out the truth.

In giving you a voice, I’m not going to allow anyone to take away mine or anyone else’s.

But until you cross the line, a line I get to draw, speak up.

Once you begin to make it personal or disrespectful, that’s when I hit the block button.

I think it’s important that people know what you believe, even if I think it’s wrong.

WHAT I’M NOT DOING

But I am not here to try to convince you I’m right or to bring you over to “my side”, as if I have a solid side.

I don’t mean this to sound rude, but I don’t care.

For too many years, culture has used bullying, disrespect, and belittling people to coerce others into joining their team.

I’m not looking for a team, I’m looking for the truth.

I’ve been in this industry long enough to know there’s a game that’s played, and I’m not interested in playing games.

Some of you want to debate, but I don’t debate.

Some of you like to argue, me too, but at some point it becomes ridiculous, and still I get tempted into the court and sometimes regret it later, that’s life..

But never am I trying to bring you to a side.

I’m telling you what I believe, period.

WHAT I DO CARE ABOUT

What I do care about is the voice of the voiceless.

I want to point out the facts, as I research them, to the people, and allow them to discern truth from fiction.

The public is starving for accurate information, and they won’t find it on CNN or MSNBC.

For decades, people lost their voice to cheating, fraud, and lying.

They got pushed into corners and either shut their mouths or got canceled.

Those days are gone.

COVID EXPOSED IT ALL

COVID was the last straw.

The message makers took it too far, for too long, and pushed us to this point of action.

We know how easy it is to twist the truth.

We’ve watched, and we are not going back.

So to those who think my motive is to win you over, you are dead wrong.

I don’t care.

I really do believe you have a choice and you have a voice, even if I think you are wrong.

My motive is the same as it’s always been.

I hate when people are misled and lied to.

I despise it when the elite run over the working people of this country.

You are free to believe what you want, but don’t try to convince me I’m wrong. Just leave it alone.

I know you won’t, but I had to say it anyway.

What you don’t see is the personal emails and messages I get from folks all over this country that thank me for speaking up.

They feel the same way and have no platform to speak out, and so that is who I do this for.

It’s not to coerce you, it’s to give a voice to the people who need to be heard.

Now, listen to them, you might learn something.
