Obstacles Are The Way (Moving Mountains)

Obstacles aren’t actually in the way; they are the way to finding a good life.

In Isaiah 49:11, it says, “I will make all my mountains a way.”

Kathy and I live in the valley between two great Montana mountain ranges, the Big Belts and the Elkhorns.

The ranges are a metaphor for our lives filled with ups, downs, hardships, and wonderful moments.

Today, as we set out to find another mountain to cycle, we know from our house that everything is uphill.

We must start each ride with a climb, an obstacle that hits you right out the door.

God makes obstacles serve His purpose.

He uses difficulty to wake us up, push us on, and move mountains so we can get to the top of our journey.

We, His people, pray for Him to remove these obstacles when I think He puts them there to encourage growth in our lives.

The journey up, the hard pushing of pedals to get us higher, are the very conditions needed for achievement.

It’s easy to get discouraged. The enemy of our soul uses everything and anything to beat us back.

He tries to extinguish our zest for life with obstacles, mountains that God can easily work around, if we let Him.

In terms of our nation’s health, I think we are in the best place we’ve been in decades.

We have scaled many mountains in a short amount of time.

Wrongs that have infected our country, causing a decay of values, are being corrected.

There are still many more to come, but those we’ve seen have come at lightning speed.

Hidden lies, deception, and corruption are being placed on the hot fires of purification.

The dross rises to the top and is scraped off by the refiner.

When Hell and its minions feel the heat, the noise grows stronger and the lies more obvious.

Guilty parties resort to whatever means necessary to cover their tracks, but it’s too late; their leg is already caught in the trap they mistakenly set for themselves.

God is moving mountains, the obstacles that have hidden the truth for generations.

The more we learn, the more disgusted we become.

In the coming days, the fire will be turned up.

The opposition will attempt to erect bigger obstacles to hide behind.

But we serve a God of truth and justice for all, not just the elite.

Morality must return, and the sins of a nation, not just one party, must be exposed, changed, and repented.

One man cannot move a mountain, but together, with God’s guidance, we can take down ranges and work with and around those obstacles. ,

Keep your eyes open and watch.

Speak out, but most importantly, be still and know that He is still our God.

Obstacles are the way.
