Kirk Made Men, Men Again

Charlie Kirk Made Being A Man Cool Again.

I’m thinking a lot about the impact Charlie Kirk had on the world.

As I’ve said, I watched and admired clips of him on social media but never really knew much about him until the 22-year-old assassinated him.

Some Thurston High School students walked out of class in protest of a teacher who said some disparaging things about the killing.

We had a couple of those kids on our podcast  (get real with Rick Dancer) last night.

We lived, yes, lived in a world that told men, especially young men, you are toxic and masculinity is bad.

That former culture tried to castrate men for being who they are.

Kirk basically told young me that culture was wrong and God made them just the way they are.

I think that’s part of what got Kirk murdered.

The same people who think his death is good or, at the very least, deserved, understand this man is on the move, and his message of love (although they can’t see it) is setting free a generation of men.

Earlier, I suggested this era is over, because I think it is.

The message makers have proven themselves, not only wrong but irrelevant.

I have a lot of liberal type folks on my social media, and I read how dumbfounded and flabbergasted they are by what seems like an overnight reversal in truth and their fiction.

I think there is much more to come, and I hope kids like these become part of the fabric of what makes this country so great again.
