Keep Pushing, Pressure Matters

It’s easy to look at our current political system and see only the fracture.

But if you stand back and keep going, yes, right there, you can see that headway is being made.

The false narratives that have strangled our nation are starting to crumble, fast.

Lies are being exposed, and while it’s frustrating because the liars won’t let up, we must remember that truth always wins.

Arrogance is like an angry, mistreated dog; it will hang on long after the dog catcher has locked it up.

I’m thrilled to see some of the recent Supreme Court decisions calling out the folly.

In Oregon, my birth state, for the first time in decades, voting by mail may soon be listed as an endangered species.

The eradication phase is not far off, but you must keep the pressure on.

Kingdoms are toppling.

State, county, city, and school districts that turned woke are paying the price and going broke.

You can’t run the government into the ground financially and pretend you care about prosperity at the same time.

Voters don’t get a lot of credit from elected officials.

The old “ ignore them, they’ll go away” isn’t working anymore.

Neither is the arrogance of some who truly believe they have the right answer and will do as they please, thinking they know best, and the public will thank them later, later never comes.

And you will not be thanked for destroying Oregon.

In case after case, from the City of Portland to Lane County Government, to local school districts firing teachers and cutting back, when you don’t manage for your constituents, they turn on you.

Consider yourself notified.

Your pink slip is coming.

You can spin a yarn, blame someone else for your missteps, it doesn’t matter.

You had your chance to do the right thing.

We put up with you far longer than we should have, but the day of reckoning is on the horizon.

Hunkerdown people, and don’t turn on each other.

Stay focused on what’s good.

A reminder, the truth sets us free.
