I’m Not The Only One

Probably one thousand people are lining up to fill the outdoor area outside The Old Saloon in Emigrant, Montana, and no one is in a hurry to get in front of the others.

I run into a guy, say “sorry man”, he turns, looks me in the eye and says “ don’t be sorry man, it’s okay”, gives me a fist bump and we move on.

The Aaron Lewis concert is the most laid-back concert I’ve ever been to.

The setting was perfect under a clear Montana sky with the massive Emigrant Peak hovering in the distance.

The crowd is unapologetically patriotic.

Lewis is a guy who, through words and his music, tells it like it is.

We ran into folks we know from the area where we live.

As I walked through the crowd, several Montanans recognized me for my outspokenness on social media.

To put it in plain English, people were just damn nice, the way America used to be.

Lewis has a huge hit called “ Am I The Only One”.

It talks about how, under the last administration, our nation fell into disrepair.

He and the audience are thrilled with Trump and all the changes, which were evident in the mood of the crowd.

It didn’t feel like a concert but instead a movement.

A highlight for me was running into Derrick Madsen, a young man from Oregon, whose brother, Nathan, disappeared in the wilderness. It was a huge story and life-changing for both of us.

We’ve got to talk about that after all these years.

It was a night Kathy and I will never forget.

A place we felt we belonged.

Standing out under the Big Sky of Montana, singing with everyone else, “I’m not the only one” because we aren’t.

Woke is dead.

Gaslighting from the left no longer matters.

Lies from the media are expected, not surprising, and something we scoff at.

From every corner of this country, every suburb and farm town, the cry for freedom rings true.

And we got to be part of it last night.
