Face The Battle Head On

Another clip of a guy encouraging people to use violence to stop ICE agents from doing what many Americans quietly support, cracking down on illegal immigrants in our country.

A podcast I follow played half a dozen clips the other day, of vile comments calling for death and destruction to people like you and me.

I was running along Canyon Ferry Lake, thinking to myself, how did so many people in our country become this unstable?

I think this is the result of many things, including the lockdown due to COVID.

People isolated, were truly afraid, and their sanity was lost in the mayhem.

You know an ideology is losing its luster when its pushers no longer discuss but instead try to force their ideas on others.

All those “Choose Kindness” and “Give Peace a Chance” slogans are forgotten as their “discussions” become strictly indoctrination, and if you don’t go along, like a group of bullies in middle school, they digress to name-calling, belittling, and character assassination, because they have nothing else in their arsenal.

So many wrongs, you and I have toiled over for years, are finally coming to light.

Solutions seem so obvious to you and me, but to those trapped under the spell of the message makers, the blindness is real.

This is no longer about Democrats and Republicans.

I don’t even see it as liberal versus conservative.

This is far-left extremists showing their desperation, reacting to fear fed to them by dark forces lurking in the shadows and a media desperate for ratings, pushing the message.

When a group of people has no legs to stand on, they lash out.

They try to make this about President Trump, MAGA, racism, homophobia, or other derogatory character assassinations, but the “Technique” has lost its luster and its power.

Those terms are used to destroy, but no one cares anymore.

But when you cry wolf too long, the words magically lose their meaning.

Don’t let the dark forces determine direction.

Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Legal is the opposite of illegal.

If you don’t like the law, work to change it.

And throwing a temper tantrum when correction comes may get you on the news, but it doesn’t sit well with those of us who follow the law and the Constitution.

Taking back our country is no cake walk.

If you voted for this and thought it would be obvious and easy for the opposition, you were wrong.

But every day I see changes I never thought I’d witness in this country.

I see the same thing in Oregon.

People standing up without fear.

That’s what it takes.

Face the battle head-on.
