Everything is on the Table

Everything Is On The Table.

For too long, we’ve allowed a narrow cultural narrative to determine what we can or cannot talk about.

We tiptoe, skirt around, and shut up when the conversation leans into uncomfortable territory.

What if we didn’t have to do that?

Actually, we don’t.

No rule says we can’t ask questions.

There should be no topic on the off-limits list.

I’m watching the unrest back in Oregon.

I see it in places like Helena and Bozeman, Montana.

I think a lot of the frustration is caused by not addressing basic questions.

COVID did a lot of bad things to people.

It made some paranoid and others crazy.

The reaction entangled fear into the everyday lives of some people, and they can’t seem to shake it.

Some lost their trust in healthcare, the system, politicians, all of it.

We will never be the same, especially if we ignore the mistakes, look away, and pretend it never happened.

Where are the COVID questions?

We say we want to find the truth, but the truth meter seems to be all over the board, and for some, the truth is no longer universal but left up to each person to determine.

That’s not the truth.

That in itself is a recipe for disaster, and that’s what got us to where we are at this contentious moment in time.

Immigration is another topic we’re not supposed to bring up.

When we do, we are called racist when the truth is, people of all colors illegally poured over our borders during the Biden administration.

The race card is just one more tall tale used to discredit the questioners and muddy the conversation.

The whole race issue needs to be talked about openly.

We are all God’s children, created equally.

People of all colors have privilege in this country, some more than others.

But to tag that “line” on one race is not only wrong, it’s also a lie and fuels the whole racism issue.

It used to be an effective way to disarm a whole group of people, but it no longer works; the message makers overplayed their hand.

For decades, it’s been a way of shutting down an entire race of people.

No more.

I’m convinced that’s why the self-proclaimed cultural monitors do it, but those same people won’t discuss it; they just resort to name-calling and accusation.

It’s time for a new era.

God is in charge of all things.

Nothing passes by His desk without His approval.

Does he want us not to get along?

From what I read in His word, division is no surprise to him.

The verse is Matthew 10:34, where Jesus says, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword" (KJV). This passage indicates that his message divides people—even within families—between those who accept him and those who reject him, rather than bringing immediate, universal peace.

I see a lot of non-believers all of a sudden quoting convenient verses from the Bible to make their point.

People who know little about the faith are judging people’s goodness and level of “Christianity” when they have no clue what they are talking about.

They forget about context or don’t even bother to consider it.

People love to read the verses about peace and harmony, but quickly page past talk of evil forces, battles from the dark side, and an adversary who will stop at nothing to destroy us.

Are we at a point of correction in our culture?

Is God allowing the muck to rise to the top as each one of us sees the sin and corruption enslaving our country?

I guess what I’m asking is, is God cleaning His house?

Are there dark forces at play, twisting and turning His words to point us down a slippery slope?

We are all God’s children, period.

He sees our soul, our heart, and our motivation.

It’s probably naive of me to suggest our goal be to look beyond skin color, political party, or ideology.

All three are effective elements in a plan to rip us apart and destroy our country.

My POV is that the dark forces notice an awakening of God’s people.

What we used to ignore is to blatent to look past.

It’s time to push beyond cultural limitations and massive manipulation.

This is not a game or a new movement.

This is a path of destruction, and if we don’t hunker down, lift our voices, and demand that all people follow “The Laws of the land”, we are in big trouble.
