Everyone Is An Expert

Internet Advice?

As I scroll through my social media feeds, I find advice on everything.

From losing man boobs to flattening my belly in four weeks.

Young men who’ve just reached puberty advising me with their experience?

The internet makes “experts “ out of anyone.

You don’t need a degree or even life experience to hang out your shingle and offer advice.

I saw an app the other day that takes your picture and gives you a tummy tuck and a facelift with the push of a key.

You start to wonder what’s real.

I follow this funny trainer who reveals the dirty little secrets of the workout industry.

These “experts” starve themselves into shape, take multiple pictures for the year, and act like they look like that year-round.

These “experts “ are setting us up to believe a pill or “follow” will change our lives when we all know there is no replacement for true grit and hard work.

People will eventually tire of AI-generated images.

Perhaps the next phase is how to get ugly and out of shape?

It’s not that much of a stretch, have you seen those baggy jeans women wear and call style? Lol.

Kathy and I are leaving Boise today for home.

I had no idea, living in Montana, that 'big, bulky, and baggy' is a thing. Lol.

My advice? I don’t have any.

Trends come and go, but life goes on.

You get eighty to ninety years in this life, if you’re fortunate.

Why waste them listening to a pretender tell you how to live your life?
