Engaging With God Is Good For Your Health

Engaging With God Increases Lifespan

Dr. David Desteno, a professor and researcher at Northeastern University, states that epidemiological statistics indicate that individuals who engage with God, rather than just believe in Him, experience a 30% reduction in all-cause mortality over a 15-year period.

That engagement also cut deaths due to cardiovascular disease and cancer by 25%

Anxiety and depression were reduced, and it increases people’s sense of meaning.

What’s amazing about this is it shows belief is great, but action is everything.

Engaging with God is the most overlooked health hack you can find, and people have been practicing it for thousands of years.

For me, it’s easy to work out; I see results. Relying on God is much more difficult because it’s not doing it’s a relationship.

We live in a world that thinks it doesn’t need to engage with God.

People put their trust in politicians, presidents, local leaders, and celebrities, hoping to find the meaning of life.

When you engage with God, you see the world more clearly.

You understand who you are.

Cultural character assassination won’t ruin you, because you understand your foundation is not built on your own virtue but on the goodness of God.

When we separate from God, we will replace Him with something.

When we begin to look to Him rather than our surroundings, that peace produces the health results we spoke of at the beginning of this article.

Man will always look for a hack to save us.

We knew during the pandemic, masks were a joke, distancing did nothing, the real answer to protecting ourselves was scientific but hard work.

Reduce our comorbidities, and we stand a better chance of fighting the virus.

But some chose vaccines and masks rather than following the data.

The same will happen with this revelation.

Perhaps in my regimen, I need to not only do cardio and weight lifting, but also spend more time engaging with God.

Explain that to your trainer!  LOL.
