Don't Engage Crazy

Stop Engaging With Crazy

We had an Oregon veteran on our podcast last night who supports ICE and was willing to talk about it.

I told him to disguise himself because I know how low those on the other side of this issue will stoop to silence their critics.

During our conversation, a few trolls showed up at the party and did what they normally do: harass and badger, ask for sources, but had none to offer on their end, and try to turn the conversation their way.

It didn’t work.

Our guest brought up his theory in the clip that accompanies this write-up.

Some of you also offered some brillitant council, and I’m going to change the way I handle these folks from here on out.

When we engage with craziness, we feed their habit and give them more reason to badger.

They don’t want unity or democracy or even a conversation.

Our “fight back” is their drug of choice.

We don’t want to feed their addiction, so to help them, we need to ignore them.

There are a lot of people out there who think differently, and they don’t all fall under the label of troll.

We must use our discernment to determine one from the other.

I want to encourage conversation, but that means allowing you and me to talk openly, without harassment.

A troll-free environment.

Tonight at 4 pm on Get Real With Rick Dancer, the podcast, we’ll have folks on to talk about this crazy referendum circulating in Oregon.

IP/28

• Criminalization of killing animals for sport, food, or pest control.

  • Bans artificial insemination and other farming practices.

  • Grants "equal protection" under the law for all animals, effectively criminalizing human use of animals.

I know, it’s crazy, but Oregonians are signing it, and people in the state should be very afraid.

Remember, the state legalized drugs under Measure 110, so anything is possible.

We’ll talk about that tonight.

Tomorrow night (Wednesday), Representative Ed Diehl will update us on Democratic attempts to implement a sales tax.

I hope you see how much headway Oregon is making right now.

Change is coming.

Change is in the air.

A new era of fairness and legality is at our fingertips.

But it won’t just happen; the people of Oregon must demand it by taking action.

We’ll see you tonight 4 pm.
