Change is NOW

Change Is Needed, Change Can Be Scary

So much is changing so quickly it can seem overwhelming.

Change is a good thing.

Change is healthy.

But it means patterns we’ve grown used to, places and people now familiar, will change.

I doubt there’s anyone in the United States that doesn’t sense the changes we are going through as a nation.

They are happening at lightening speed and that’s uncomfortable, especially if you don’t understand the changes and therefore think they are bad.

For a majority though, change is what we’ve longed for and we are finally getting it.

Wrong is not longer right.

People who corrupted our system find themselves on the hot seat.

Money stolen, misused and hidden, is turning up in places it was never meant to be.

Change is now.

In my own life something is changing.

What was is no longer.

Circumstances force movement.

If I think too far out, at the “what if’s and use patterns of the past I become overwhelmed by what might be.

A little voice says to me you are too old for change but a louder, more holy whisper says “Rick, do you trust me?”

I read a verse this morning 2 Cor 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for thee.”

The example used in the text was of a man standing on a mountain top and saying to God “ I breathe so many cubic feet of air every year, I fear I shall exhaust the oxygen in the atmosphere.”

It’s crazy right?

I hear God say to me “Do you really think I’m going to let you run out of air Rick?”

We stay in jobs we no longer like.

Our comfort bores the Hell out of us but we refuse to change.

Fear lies to us about what might happen and in the process we fail to see what could be?

Change is needed, change is scary, but change is also the most exciting way to truly live the life we are giving.

If people try to dissuade you from change, walk away from them.

This is your moment.

Come on, you’re not going to run out of air. LOL

God’s grace is sufficient for you and for me.
