Reminders Of Battles Fought And Won
It’s good to go back and remind ourselves of battles we’ve fought and won.
The news about President Biden’s prostate cancer unleashed some long forgotten memories from my own experience.
It used to be every time someone was diagnosed with cancer, it would really throw me.
The Biden announcement brings some of those feelings back for me.
I was going through some of my Youtube videos from that time in 2010.
Two really stood out and a third I can’t find but will retell in upcoming posts.
It’s important to remind ourselves of the scariest moments in life.
At the time we feel so overwhelmed and understand there is a light at the end of the tunnel but can’t see it through the frustration and depression.
I made this video right after I was diagnosed with cancer in 2010.
I had no idea what the future held.
I waited several weeks to publicize the video.
It was all too raw.
My life and my future were both uncertain.
If I could go back and talk to myself, knowing what I know today, the things I would say.
