Broken Promises Concern You Now?

Suddenly You’re Concerned With Broken Promises?

Okay, I’m not a fan of war.
I have a lot of questions about bombing anyone.
But I find it so hypocritical when I see Trump haters now using “broken promises” as they try to discredit the President.
I don’t think Trump is a big pro war guy. He’s no Neocon.
He obviously feels like keeping Iran from a nuclear weapon is important enough to draw a line in the sand a line many of the past presidents were too afraid to draw.
In fact, they gave Iran the ability to get this far.
I still am uneasy with America getting this involved but I’m not in the oval office and to play armchair quarterback from Townsend Montana seems pretty ridiculous.
Listen, I know you hate Trump, I’d like to say I get it but that’s beside the point, I don’t get Hate.
I dislike many past leaders but hate them, not at all.
I digress.
If “Broken Promises” is your measure of a good leader look back at Bush, Obama, and Biden the worst of all promise breakers.
Do we hold these men to the flame with the same measure?
You don’t need to answer that I know the response is NO.
I’m concerned about what’s happening just like you are.
I’m also sure there is much more going on in the background that we don’t know.
But “Broken Promises”?
Trump has kept most of the promises he made during this campaign and the leaders I mentioned above have dozens of examples, each, of promises broken and you said NOTHING.
You never give Trump credit for any promise he keeps but growl and scowl when world events change and he makes a decision that goes against what he really believes in.
Rather than judge the man, listen for once.
Again, Trump is not a Neocon, not even close.
In fact, that’s why many Neocon’s in the Republican party and Democrat party hate him, still.
But you don’t bother to pay attention to that do you, just that “Broken Promise.”
A new slogan because “Orange Man” is old and worn out and you need something new.
It’s pretty disingenuous of you to single out one moment like this but that’s what you do.
We don’t know if the bombings will work, my crystal ball is in the repair shop right now.
But some of us are giving some wiggle room to the president and that may change.
But he’s got a damn good track record of keeping promises, not breaking them, which is more than I can say for most so-called leaders in DC.
