As The World Turns

I wake up smiling more these days as the world goes from spinning out of control to something more normal. Do you feel it?
Finally, the world is waking up to the fact that men are men and women are women.
Seems you can’t change biology, science is a tattle tale.
What was accepted a few years ago is now being rejected, even by some courts.
Oh, there are still crazy nuts out there that elect in the primary an unqualified morons to be their mayor in New York.
That will never change.
Way back when you and I were in middle school, our peers voted for student body president based on whether or not you’d be able to chew gum in school.
Some inexperienced, overeducated nut job can promise the world, and folks will swoon over him.
Stupidity is contagious.
I’m not completely comfortable with the Iran situation, but at least we have a president willing to stand up to terrorists.
I hope he treads softly but rules with an iron fist.
We are learning that to care about our environment means doing more than driving an electric car.
Perhaps the real environmental scientists are the folks who work in logging and spend time outside their concrete jungles.
The true experts don’t sit in offices or hide behind the title of judge or lawyer, but instead get their hands dirty and understand how the world outside urban America works.
People aren’t falling for the sustainability bullshit anymore.
We see the discrepancy when you call for more sustainable products but lock up our forests, forcing America to buy its lumber from foreign markets.
Yes, the world is waking up.
The facts that the other side once claimed were mandatory seem to have turned on them.
Ah, the pendulum is swinging back in the direction of common sense.
But don’t rest because it only takes a few wackos to push it back the wrong direction.
