America Needs Disruption

As humans we tend to hate disruption. We want everything to run smoothly so we can live in comfort….that’s not reality and sometimes our lives need to be disrupted to expose us to what’s really going on.

This happens in nature as well. For decades we had “Smokey Bear” telling us only we could prevent forest fires, and we did.

But what we failed to understand is that forest fires create a disruption that actually minimizes catastrophic fire and creates habitat for wildlife.

What needs to happen is purposeful, well managed disruption in the forests but there’s a problem. Those anti-logging groups want mother nature to take charge. What they fail to understand is we already messed up the natural flow and left to her own devices, Mother Nature can be pretty sloppy and cruel.

I see the same thing happening in most aspects of our nation. Special interest groups came in with their sad stories and manipulated the heart strings of many American’s, leaving no room for mass disruption.

Politicians went to Salem, Helena or D.C. with intentions of disrupting the status-quo but most got drunk with power and quickly learned to play the game rather than be the game.

Now we have a leader and a massive number of American’s ready for massive disruption. It is one of the most powerful “We the People” moments I’ve ever experienced.

Oh, the former power holders on the left and right are screaming but Trump keeps upsetting the applecart, turning over tables and chasing out the thieves and liars.

The general population is not happy. They long for comfort and feeing good. Disruption provides neither. Yes, there will be mistakes and mishaps but look how we got here? Nothing turns around in a day but in just 10 days Trumps done more than any other president to drain the swamp and the swamp dwellers are scouring for cover.

Remember America, more of us asked for this than didn’t. Major disturbances are rarely welcomed by the fence-sitters.

You could hear the fear in the questions asked by Democrat senators in the confirmation hearings yesterday.

They seethed with anger as they asked ridiculous questions even their “virtuous souls” would never live up to.

The media will side with comfort, disruption often reveals folly and they are an orchestra out of tune, out of touch and in need of a new conductor.

Hang on, don’t try to steer the boat, let go of the oar, someone much greater than you and I is in charge of the wind.
