Amazing Grace

Millions of people watched as Erika Kirk, publicly, in front of the entire world, offered forgiveness to the man who murdered her husband.
You could almost hear a gasp ring out all over the world.
What the darkness meant for evil, God turned into a revival.
The forces of Hell are shaking, and the people of God will not be silent again.
I was at the gym, working out, while listening to speaker after speaker professed their allegiance to Christ, offering a message of hope.
There was also a call to action.
Speakers encouraging people to get involved in their communities, churches, and to follow Jesus.
I’ve worked in media for a long time.
I’ve lived as a more conservative guy living in a world spiralling ever closer to the darkness, and never believed I’d see a moment like this in my lifetime.
President Trump filled his cabinet with people who have faith in a higher power.
I don’t know if that was planned by Trump; I doubt it, but this is something our creator set up in the spiritual realm.
The memorial was a pivot, a turn around, from a culture headed for disaster to one leaning ever closer to the footstool of the Father.
Nothing will be the same, but this isn’t magic, and culture will fight back to grasp at whatever it can salvage from the carnage it created.
It will create lies and half-truths to make its claim; that’s what evil has always done, fathered lies to try to destroy what God created.
This is a defining moment for our nation.
While I support Trump in many of the things he’s trying to do and I admire his brawn, his guts, and his leadership, I feel like the mantle he carried was passed on yesterday.
This is no longer about him; it is about us.
God used Trump to set up the perfect storm, but now you and I need to quit leaving it up to him, pick up the torch, and go serve God.
I know many of you don’t agree and see this as the so-called death of our democracy.
We disagree, and after what I saw happen yesterday, get ready for a giant move in a different direction.
You don’t define compassion; God does.
You don’t set the agenda for our nation; God will.
You will try to make this about Christianity and people trying to force a religion down your throat, but it is not.
Charlie Kirk was martyred, opening the door to change.
He loved people, showed the facts, and wasn’t afraid to confront anyone in kindness.
We can do the same.
Yesterday, his wife, Erika, sealed the deal by doing something so simple yet so difficult. She forgave.
Hang on, the battle isn’t over, but smile, God’s back on the throne.
