Nothing Is off The Table.

On our latest podcast we interview a man who proves your past is not your future.
Excuses are like, you know what, we all have one.
Bill Barnard has not had an easy life.
We all have a past but buried and exhumed from his is everything from abuse to spending 17 years in prison.
As I’m interviewing Bill I’m thinking to myself, why do some people, like Bill, find that “thing” it takes to say “no more, I’m done, Time to change?”
He told me we all get the opportunity to change our lives it’s a matter of deciding we’re not victims.
We live in a victim culture.
Everyone has a reason for their issues but instead of using those hardships as a starting point, we allow those hard things to define us, crush us and destroy our motivation.
I’ve met many Bill’s in my life.
I tend to be a guy who seeks out real people.
Often times the real ones have stories with great difficulty.
Maybe that’s not it at all.
Maybe the real ones are the people so fed up with the lies they are willing to bare it all, to Hell with the consequences.
I met Bill through another guy I love to death named Nick.
He too spent his fair share of time in prison.
And now, he’s turned his world around and, like Bill, is on the river banks of life pulling others from the dreadful waters of apathy and sadness.
I highly recommend you watch this interview.
Share it with your friends, even the ones you think don’t need to hear it.
Bill and Nick remind me of all that’s right in America.
We each have the opportunity to live adventurous, authentic, lives.
The choice is ours.
Either say yes to change or allow the world to drag you behind it.
Thanks Bill…..and Nick.
